[Unlike many people, York is actually pretty familiar with the inside of his own head (the only difference being that, for the next few days, the door to the outside world is not locked securely). So when he wakes up to find the familiar room that's a mix between his Freelancer barracks and the apartment he grew up in, he doesn't realize that he's woken up at all. This impression is compounded when he sees a very human Delta sitting at the foot of his bed and smiling faintly.]

Hey, D.

Good morning, York. I trust you have slept well.

You know I did. [And then, because he usually doesn't find himself here unless it's actually important for him to be here--] Is there something you need to tell me?

Only in an unusual sense. [The AI pauses.] You are not unconscious nor, judging by the journal reactions, is this a loss. The environment has altered to reflect--this.

[Having just awakened, it takes York a few moments to realize the implications.]

Wash. Sitrep. Now.

((OOC: In their canon, AI are human inside peoples' heads (see about 4:00). So for the duration of this plot, Delta will be human (usually in green Freelancer-style armor) both inside and outside the room.

Also, post is open to anyone who wants to wander in or respond via journal!))
