[Given the impending battle, Phoebe knew that she had to do something else to help. She may not have active powers, but she still knew how to brew a mean potion. Or... so she thought. [Alan is just on his way downstairs, just passing by Phoebe's room to the next set of stairs down when the explosion occurs. He looks to the source of the noise, recognizing Phoebe's name on the door.

Knock, knock, knock! Alan's concerned.] Are you alright in there?

[she recognizes that voice. She makes a face and goes to open a window to air out the room a little.]

The door's open. Yeah, I'm alright.

[Well, that's good. Alan opens the door to see what happened; he catches a whiff of smoke from the explosion.]

That's good, at least. What happened?

[she shoots him a smile, grabbing a fire extinguisher and putting out the small fire going in her kitchen.]

I was trying to make something and it, well, exploded.

[Ray's in one of the other towers - which means he may not have felt the explosion, but he sure as heck heard it. he goes scrambling for his journal, abandoning the trap he was working on]

Whoa, hey, everything alright out there? I heard something blow up!

Oh yeah. I'm fine, Ray... my kitchen's on fire, but I'm fine.

Your -- aw, crap! Wish up a fire extinguisher, quick!

[Enter WHOOSH of fire extinguisher, here]

Already on it. [She sounds entirely too calm about the situation. She sounds more disappointed than anything]

Oh. Oh there's nothing to worry about. I'm fine. I'm just blowing up my room... apparently.

Somehow, that doesn't make me worry less.
