why did this make me giggleharunoAugust 8 2011, 02:04:58 UTC
Thank you for responding! I don't think we've spoken before -- have we? I'm attempting to update records of active health-related people here in Paradisa to keep in the Clinic and have on hand for future needs. Immediate and long term.
this is probably why and I love itharunoAugust 8 2011, 02:51:57 UTC
Haruno Sakura, nice to meet you, Mr. Williams. May I ask what your level of ability it when it comes to the medical profession, relative to your world?
Would you be willing to work as a nurse again here should the help be needed? Though I guess I should also be asking if you had, and if that's a yes, if you'd be willing to keep doing so.
[he hadn't been willing to work as a nurse for a very long time due to his fear of being a danger to others--but now that that condition is ... gone ... he thinks he might be willing to consider it. There's just one problem]
I'd be willing to work again, yeah, sure. It's just, um ... some people might not--want to be treated by me.
[awkward pause; then he's rushing right on]
Oh, right, sorry. The NHS is the National Health System, it's the public healthcare system back home.
ugh god I am so sorry for the slow tagsnurse_boyAugust 9 2011, 06:39:53 UTC
[there's silence on his end for a very long moment, then the sound of a deep breath]
I've ... done some--things--while I've been here, that the castle made me do, that ... [he's struggling to articulate it while keeping these shameful memories to himself] ... has made some people here very uncomfortable around me.
[another pause; then, quietly]
Most people I don't think remember. Or maybe they don't want to. But some do.
hahah no worries I'm slow right now tooharunoAugust 10 2011, 00:45:48 UTC
I'm sure that's something we can work around, if you're serious about wanting to get involved again. Growing and moving past what we can is a luxury we're granted around here that shouldn't be thrown away or doubted so readily.

[the rather--clinical--tone of her voice is sort of throwing him]
Well ... I'm a fully-qualified nurse with the NHS back home.

Also, what's the NHS?
