[He raises his paint brush in a valiant gesture, even though he does not enjoy and is not used to manual labour. You'd have thought the refreshing challenge would have taught him that, but he is nothing if not tenacious.
His mind is full of a montage of he and Kasanoda painting the town; flicking paint at one another while laughing, as somehow the actual work got done without them doing anything.]
