[Black Bat had woken up on the castle roof in the middle of the night when, luckily, a good number of residents were either asleep or not around. Not that I've heard. There's some pretty smart people here, and this place has 'em stumped. The castle itself doesn't like it when people start poking around.

[Irritated sigh. Raiden hates having to explain things.]

The gist of it is that as long as you're close to the castle, you can ask for most anything, except anything huge, or anything considered a weapon. Something was taken from you, too. A memory...or a skill...something you think is important. People've called it an "entry fee", or a "loss". You can't get it back.

I went on an expedition here a few months ago, in a place called "Insolitus". It was basically a underground maze inside the castle. We tried to map it, but I guess all of our maps are worthless now, because everything changed after we left.

I'd say "welcome", but Paradisa's not a very "welcome" place. I'm Raiden.

I guess so. I'm not a real big believe in "magic" and stuff like that, but it's getting harder to deny.
