[Amelia has taken her time exploring the castle, which is to be expected. Not even the fanciest buildings where she's from come close to it, and where she is now is no exception to that. She's heard of water-holding tanks, and even seen a few before, but all as towers. Nothing like this massive hole in the ground. It's clearly man-made, but Amelia's pretty sure something is off about it. Why else would it smell so bad? It's definitely something that needs to be fixed, so Amelia slips her journal and a pen out from her coat.]
I'm next to some water-holding tank on the first floor. I think the water's turned though. It smells off.
Also, I'm looking for a job. I'm a bounty hunter by trade, but there doesn't seem to be that many targets around here.
[That done, Amelia tucks the journal away again, and kneels down at the edge of the water to inspect it a bit better. Unfortunately, her journal isn't tied down, and tumbles out a few seconds after. Everyone wanted their books to suddenly be soaked and smelling of chlorine, right?
Thankfully Amelia manages to grab hers before it sinks too far, so it's just the upper half of the journal or so that got drenched. She frowns as she holds the book out over the pool, letting whatever is falling drip back in. It may be bad, but Amelia won't waste it, just in case it can be fixed.
She's from a desert. It's habit.]
[ooc: Open over the journals or in person. Desert girl has no clue what a pool is, or why it would smell so funny. Someone enlighten her?]
