[Oh well fuck, okay, that could have gone better. Guess he'll need to dodge that by stepping back into the hallway, and continuing to head down it backwards so he can keep an eye on the other. STILL EATING THAT COTTON CANDY THOUGH, this stuff is addicting. Maybe getting Equius out of that room was part of the plan, too.]

[Why the hell would getting Equius into a smaller space be more beneficial to you. He's confused as to your aim but to be honest his head isn't in the right place to be trying to figure it out.]

[Equius quickly wishes for a 'blunt weapon' and is given a rather large sledge hammer which he drags on the ground after him, his pace picking up more and more until he's at a sprint after Sollux.]

[Smaller space means less swinging room for starters. However that doesn't make the "suddenly running at him with a hammer" thing any better. So yeah, he should avoid that, and just... keep fleeing backwards, with the help of his psionics now. Sollux's goal right now is the lobby, or even getting them outside the castle, whichever one he can manage.]

[Pssh, does he need a reason to confront the other? Maybe he just heard the noise and was dragged into this, maybe he felt like picking a fight. Who knows, because either way he's rolling with it as he makes his way into the lobby, finishing off the bag of cotton candy.]

[He twitches and feels himself stop, body freezing.]

Now... [His head sinks down, eyes wide behind his shades. He's just looking at the floor, hand clenching the sledge hammer handle, his other and moving as if to touch his forehead but never get's there.]

Is not the time...for childish jokes and insignificant meddling. [He pauses, slowly looking up, his eyes gleaming bright yellow over his shades, looking through strands of hair at Sollux, his pupils small.]

I suggest you continue... outside... Now.

[Another movement of the arm and flick of the wrist, and the doors swing open, and Sollux continues to levitate his way onto the castle grounds.]

[Yes, because he really doesn't WANT to hurt a lot of people which might happen in a closed public space. At least in the laundry room there was just him, and randomly other people stopping by...]

[He follows Sollox outside, wishing for another 'blunt object' and this time it's maul, which really just is another large hammer. That's fine. He stretches and cracks his shoulders before running at Sollux and swinging each hammer at him, one following the other. He starts the swings early so by the time he get's closer to Sollux their moving at a much faster speed in his direction.]

[He hates having to dodge like this, constantly flinging himself back and forth in the air to avoid getting hit (because man, one hit from those and he's out of here), but it's the only way at the moment. Unless he gets one of those hammers away from him-- which, actually, is more possible than he had realized at first. If he can just focus long enough to tug the hammer away from Equius, maybe use the hammer against him... Yes, that's the plan now.

One end of one of the hammers begins to flash red and blue as Sollux tries to tug it away.]
