You may or may not know me, but my name is Felix Harrowgate. I am a wizard, as well as the head of a council called Chimera here in Paradisa. I began Chimera with three goals in mind - to understand magic as a whole, to understand the magic of this world, and to help the residents when threats arise, especially those of a magical nature.
If you are seeing this filter it means that I hope to either meet with you to learn about your talent, or perhaps that you might be interested in joining this council to aide in it's efforts.
I realize some of you may have misgivings about sharing this information with a stranger. I am not looking to learn this for any sort of personal gain or nefarious purpose. We will in a building...an entire world...permeated with a magic we cannot control or understand, where each day we face the possibility of seeing ourselves or those we know changed by this magic, or that unknown threats from outside assault us merely for the fact that we exist here. This is something we all have a stake in, so no matter your decision, I hope to hear from you.

Our research progress has been far too idle. I realize we have many things to deal with here. Paradisa isn't exactly accommodating when it comes to deadlines. However, I think it's time we got a little more organized.
Firstly, I would like to see some progress on your personal reports. I've drafted a basic outline for you to follow from here on out, and you can start with your own magic. It's best to lead by example, in this case. The form and my own report can be found in headquarters.
Once you have completed that - and while I am not exactly giving you a deadline, I would appreciate it being done so we can look ahead - I want you to start more actively collecting information. You need not make mass filters like I do, but in your day to day activities, should you encounter a resident that has any sort of magic talent, I want you to learn what you can. Interview them and draw up a report for them. Naturally it will be hard to gain a complete understanding of their magic, but a basic overview will be acceptable. Find out what world they are from and use any corresponding books in the library to fill in gaps in your knowledge. I also want copies of those books in the Chimera library.
Lastly, if you are not aware, there is a looming threat from a resident known as Riful. Defensive preparations are already being discussed, and I believe this is something Chimera could be a part of. In the long term, I would like to place wards on the castle as a whole, but there simply isn't time for that. I will learn what I can about Riful - including what resistance or weakness to magic she may have - and hopefully apply this to our own efforts.
I will call a meeting near the end of the month we can perhaps put some of this into action before any hostile action is taken.
