[ Neku is lying on his stomach on the grass outside, flipping through his journal. He doesn't realize that also means it'll record what he's saying. The flipping of pages can be heard as he stalks his past selves. ]

[ Yep, no recognition! He'll be nicer once he realizes it was her. For now a bit antisocial though. ]

I was looking through the journal.

Oh? Did you find anything interesting? [She peeks over his shoulder to see, hands on her knees.

She's not sure if she should tell him, though... but she does want to thank him for being so nice!

A pause.]

Um... thank you for helping me before. When I was a cat. You were really nice.

[She smiles sheepishly and nods.]

Yup. I guess the castle wanted to play a dirty trick on me.

The castle did that? ...Well, at least you're back to normal now.

Yup! The castle does stuff like that all the time, actually. One time two of my friends turned into bunnies. I guess it's just something that it does every now and then.

[She giggles.] Nice to meet you more formally, Neku. I'm Jade!
