[something about adventuring around on a pirate ship makes you a little restless once you're home, you know? It's summertime, the weather is gorgeous, and there is just something about sailing out on the open ocean that Billy already kind of misses.
So... what else would he do about this but build a seriously awesome high-tech hammock? It was really the only logical thing to do.
Dragging what looks like a person-sized folded-up scaffolding with some fabric bundled up in it out to the lawn, he finds a nice place and presses a button on a remote hooked to his belt. The contraption gets to work unfolding and setting itself up, while he busies himself with the journal]
There's just something about summer, you know? It makes you just want to be outside, enjoy the heat and the light, and-- [pressing another button, a shade opens and casts a shadow on the hammock] --and the wildlife-- [another button, a mosquito repellant panel opens] --and you just want to... I dunno... work. [and then, hammock complete, he flops carefully into it]
You just gotta enjoy getting your hands dirty sometimes. [then, the journal catches the whisper-quiet buzz of the motor that mechanically rocks the hammock... though, after a few moments, it sounds as though it's beginning to pick up speed a little]
