On a certain level. I can understand love regardless of my states of being a computer program, I do not understand why it is so commonly used.

It's confusing and leads only to pain and anger, yet many rush right on in, even knowing that. Why let yourself get hurt?

Yeah. I had a few myself, and I know many others have. It's pretty common; makes me wonder why nobody tries to work around it. Or just stay away more.

Mmmm...well, I assume human kind needs to biologically reproduce. There is that.

It seems a lot of races have various means of doing that, too, regardless of gender or courtship. So why the need for close bonding? I can see getting along for the sake of the offspring but why risk it all just for that?

I guess it is different between you and me. I had the advantage of turning off my emotions when the need arise while you cannot. However, it seems that it would be very hard to live without them.

It's both good and bad to be stuck with them. Right now though I'm leaning towards bad. What if my skills as a fighter deteriorate?

What sort of situation do you feel that your emotions would effect your fighting skills?

They can be distracting in general. What if I falter thinking of them, or cannot use my skills to protect them? What if we end up fighting each other?

It's okay, I appreciate your efforts to begin with. Even just talking helps one think sometimes by organizing their ideas and such.
