How does one relax after a thousand years of constant work? What is a vacation? What do you do with free time? She's been scouring the castle looking for anything to occupy herself that her ( Read more... )

[well he won't use it against you but it may be awkward to explain it to a technical three year old AI.]

That is a good question.

[We can be awkward together forever then!]

So I'm not the only one confused about this?

On a certain level. I can understand love regardless of my states of being a computer program, I do not understand why it is so commonly used.

It's confusing and leads only to pain and anger, yet many rush right on in, even knowing that. Why let yourself get hurt?

Ah...would the correct term be 'bad experiences'?

Yeah. I had a few myself, and I know many others have. It's pretty common; makes me wonder why nobody tries to work around it. Or just stay away more.

I guess it is different between you and me. I had the advantage of turning off my emotions when the need arise while you cannot. However, it seems that it would be very hard to live without them.

It's both good and bad to be stuck with them. Right now though I'm leaning towards bad. What if my skills as a fighter deteriorate?

What sort of situation do you feel that your emotions would effect your fighting skills?

They can be distracting in general. What if I falter thinking of them, or cannot use my skills to protect them? What if we end up fighting each other?

I do not believe I have the answer to that Alleyne. I am sorry.

It's okay, I appreciate your efforts to begin with. Even just talking helps one think sometimes by organizing their ideas and such.
