[she dips her quill in a pot of ink, letting it hover over the journal. A splotch appears. She stares at it intently but it doesn't soak into the page. Taking a breath, she draws something onto the page]

[Oh, symbols. Violet stares at her journal before writing back.] My brother knows more on the subject, but I can't say I can place it. Does it have any context?

It does. It's a part of an old fairy tale.

I can't say I'm familiar with any tales connected with that symbol.

It's not surprising. I was just hoping someone would recognize it.

No. I was just wondering...

Is it something you found here, or is it from your world?

It's from my world. I heard someone else from my world was here before, and I wondered if he ever showed this symbol to anyone here.

If not for the line going down the middle, I'd say it's a trinitarian symbol.

Is that something from your world?

My world? Well, not exactly. I guess...in the past. I've seen symbols similar to that in some books from Lost Jerusalem. What you might call Earth?

There are a few variations of it, and I've read it's one of many ways to represent the holy trinity. But...it seems to also be connected to other older religions, too.

What I've seen is a little different. More like this.

Oh, yes. I'm familiar with that. This symbol isn't connected with a religion, though. More like... a fable.

Hmm. For some reason, it reminds me of the Elements of Harmony, but I can't quite say why.

I'd love to hear more about that, if you don't mind.

Not at all.

The Elements of Harmony are the most powerful magic known to ponykind. The six Spirits when combined produce magic capable of defeating even the darkest of enemies.

The Elements are Honesty, Kindness, Laughter, Generosity, Loyalty.

[Something seems to be missing there...]

That sounds amazing. I haven't read anything about pony magic before. Are there any books about it?

No, it isn't mine. But it is from my world.

Looks kind of familiar. Like maybe I'd seen something like it in glyphs somewhere. What's it mean?

It's a symbol based off a children's story.
