We didn’t get to say goodbye again.
I hope you’ll both be happy back in your world. Take care of each other, okay? And Halloween, don’t be afraid to lean on Lancelot sometimes! You’re both strong people, I know you’ll be fine. Maybe we’ll see each other again.

Seeing Allen-kun after so long made me really happy. I think it’s too easy to forget I still have friends offering to lend their ears because of all the things that happen in Paradisa. I’ll try not to forget again.
But I do have to make choices for myself. He’s right.

We don’t talk much, I know. And the tiger thing was stil [ SCRATCHED OUT, SOB. ] But I wanted to say thank you for being Pharos’ friend. It hasn’t been the best few months for him but whenever he talks about you, he’s so happy.

[ she’d been walking aimlessly around the castle after having lunch in the kitchen. as delicious as the bowl of odin was, it only temporarily lifted her spirits. the knowledge more of her friends had left without her noticing until recently weighed heavy in her heart. how many people did that make now? these weren’t just acquaintances; they were people she had grown attached to and would have done anything to better their lives. she knows it’s to be expected, it was just how it was in paradisa. she didn’t have to like it.
finally, she settles down outside in the courtyard, under the same tree she discovered the robins in. she pulls her legs up and close, resting her head against her knees, thinking. she wants to ask how her friends are doing, but a part of her fears she won’t hear from someone and it’ll turn out they also were sent back.
but there’s still one thing left to do. pulling her journal out: ]
Halloween and Lancelot were sent back home. I guess at the same time... [ a beat. ] I’m sorry.
