I am confirming what was said in an earlier entry. The Jolly Roger was attacked without provocation by five modern frigates of this so-called Navy just off the coast of Death Hill. The fleet engaged cannon fire and then closed and used boarding parties to try to cripple the ship and take prisoners.
15 people were unfortunately captured, including our captain. I'm still trying to get a confirmation of names. Perhaps those who have missing shipmates could contact me, I'll make up a list.

The Navy demonstrated little mercy or consideration in their attack, taking adults and children alike. They would not listen to reason and many of us have been injured, some seriously. I urge the other two ships to be on the look out for these frigates as they will not hesitate to attack if they believe you are pirates and engaged in criminal activity. Some of their officers are indeed still possessing enhanced abilities and powers. One woman shot ice bullets and commanded a large mechanical wolf-beast which had mini-cannons on its back. Another was able to fly with wings and shot what looked like glowing chakrams at us. I saw a man who was an extremely excellent marksman. Another particularly dangerous man seemed to be able to have matter pass through him, had command of directed energy light beams and could also fly. They also possessed superior weaponry, and weren't saddled with frontloading muskets and flintlock pistols like we were. Do not engage if at all possible.
Since we were outgunned and outnumbered, we were unable to properly fight off the invasion. As a result the prisoners were taken and the rest of us on the ship have been ordered to sail on immediately or have the ship sunk with all hands aboard.
We have had no choice but to leave, despite how damaged we are. I cannot fathom why any of us were left alive or allowed to go free, but it appeared they had business elsewhere. Beware of locals who seem a little too friendly and eager to help. Our whereabouts were reported to the Navy by two strangers whom we believed to be trustworthy.
Due to the valiant defense efforts of our crew, the ship's masts and rigging are at least intact, the fires have been put out and the holes to the hull are in the process of being repaired.

We need to appoint a new captain. Zoe, are you up for it?
Unfortunately the map was destroyed when one of their officers blew up the captain's cabin. But strangely it appears to be slowly regenerating itself. So as soon as I can plot a course I will.
If we have any healers or people with medical skills of any kind, there are injured who need help.
We need people to help with plugging the holes in the hull with whatever we can find, just in case we encounter rougher weather.
