The Navy attacked us, and we didn't do anything! Not to them, not to anyone else! We've been on our best behavior and they came in, wrecked our ship, and kidnapped some of our friends

...The Navy people are castle residents on some kind of loss, then, you think?

I think I've seen and heard some of them before... but then again, a couple were strangers so it's hard to tell.

[bostrumite]

I can't exactly say I know a whole lot of people, so they might all be residents.

[He sighs.] Do losses always turn us against each other?

[cheerupemoborg]

That, or they can turn you into an object, change your personality, alter memories... just about anything, really.

[bostrumite]

...An object. Really.

[This is his dubious voice.]

That's right. Animals too.

[bostrumite]

But they're at least alive. That kind of change I can understand.

It does sound preferable.

...They come back alive again, though, right?

Of course they do. Losses like that are never long lasting, from what I've seen.

Well, that's a relief. Still hope it doesn't happen, though.
