13th Case - The Note in the Song
[Booth's come to a decision. This place had thrown a lot at him (sacrificing goddesses, kidnapped children, a fake marriage and a lost child), and there was no ignoring it. It all hit too close to home. Was too real. But he'd be damned if he was going to let it stop him.
So, today, he goes for his morning run, stops by the shooting range for a bit of practice, and then throws up some filters. It's time to stop hiding]

So...who do I need to talk to to see about getting Bones a lab around here? Right now she's got some makeshift setup happening in her room that, frankly, gives me the creeps.

[and, as the day creeps from late afternoon to evening, a drink is exactly what Booth goes looking for. A drink and a good time, which means he can be found in Caritas. And, unfortunately for Lorne (good OR evil), it is inevitable that karoake is eventually involved. To the great misfortune of anyone in the bar, or over the journal, they will be treated to a painfully exuberant rendition of "Hot Blooded." Enjoy that.]
