[It's so terrible, he had never imagined it would be as bad as this. Commoners were so hard up for things to let their children play with, that they gave them rocks from the ground and made up games to go with them.

His mind's eye full of a tiny Haruhi dressed in rags, sitting in the squalor of the dirty street and being given rocks to play with... AND BEING GRATEFUL FOR IT!]
