[as per usual, Neal is Up To Something. But this time, it happens to be a relatively harmless Something, and there are no plans for anyone to be hurt, wronged and/or stolen from. The only potential problem is for people with bad backs.
But that's what a hand truck is for.
He's currently standing in the middle of the lobby, with a sculpture of a certain local witch, in a t-shirt and jeans, before he flips open the journal to dictate.]
Hi, there, Paradisa. This is Neal Caffrey, and I'm afraid I need your help.
For those of you who don't know me, I'm one of the artists displaying their work at the gallery in town. I happen to have a new piece that I'd like to move there, but unfortunately, it's not something I can do on my own. For reasons beyond my control, I can only leave the castle in the company of certain individuals, and well -- those individuals might not be able to help me with this trip. The piece is rather large.
[he made it lifesize. he felt inspired]
So. I need help. Either I need someone to take it to the gallery for me -- which would probably mean having two someones -- or we need to hope that you're one of those special people who can actually walk me out of the castle.
[he hates his loss. It makes him feel like a little kid who can't go out without Mom's permission]
Or you can buy the statue off me on the spot. That works too.
[a beat]
Anyway. If you think you can help, I'll be down in the lobby. Thanks.
