[ Some time later, Piper finds her way to the Lux. She curses herself when she walks into the bar for not grabbing a few words of description about him. But she has a feeling that she might be able to pick him out of a line-up while blindfolded, if his departing statement was anything to go by.

So she tries her luck at the bar - seeing a red-head dressed in rather unusual attire for her. ] Felix?

[Assuming she doesn't live in the 18th century, yes, quite unusual. He turns, flashing her a brilliant smile] The one and only. And you must be the elusive Piper. I'm glad to meet you at last.

[moleculars]

[ She smiles, relieved that she's found Felix this quickly. She takes a seat next to him. ] Same can be said for you. It's nice to put a face to a rather friendly voice.

[lord_wizard]

I'm glad I made a good impression, but if you're anything like your sister, I am sure we'll get along just fine.

[He gestures to a booth] Would you prefer to get a table and order before we speak more?

[moleculars]

[ Piper frowns slightly, but looks over to the booth. She decides that moving to the booth before getting deep into conversatoin would be the best move to make. ] That might be best. Though, I must warn you - I've never been here before, and I'll probably end up bugging you as to what you recommend off the menu.

I've actually never been here either. I usually lunch in town or make it myself. But this was close...

[And he'll move over the booth as he speaks. Far easier to talk face to face this way]

So what do you think of Paradisa so far?

[moleculars]

[ Piper follows him to the booth ] Paradisa is ... well, it is what it is. It's not the worst place I could've ended up in. I didn't expect the people to be so nice here. The entire thing ... it's a bit overwhelming - with the losses and not really knowing what's outside the castle.

Hopefully it gets easier to digest it all with time. Have you been here long?

Not everyone is nice, but it does help that we are all in the same situation.

It does get easier. Sometimes it gets harder, but most of the time it gets easier. I've been here...oh...a little over six months now.

[moleculars]

The people I've met so far have been here for years. It's kind of refreshing to meet someone who is still using 'months' as an answer.

[ hesitantly] I'm not sure how to ask this, but have you had ... another you ... here before?

[lord_wizard]

Not that I am aware. Nor anyone else from my world for that matter. [A smirk] Meduse isn't as popular with the castle as Earth, it seems.

[moleculars]

[ Her eyebrows raise at that. ] Meduse? What was that like? [ Quickly: ] If you don't mind me asking.

[lord_wizard]

[A small smile] It's fine. It simply depends on what you want to know. All the regions are fairly different.
