A friend and I joked that with the insanity of this world, we might wake up one day with marshmallow overlords. It was a running amusement, we'd make plans on how to combat them. He's gone... so I thought burning some overlords would be a good way to remember him.
[He heard a lot of people say that when others went home; at least they're not here, but how was that meant to be a comfort? There they were friends, now he was gone and how was it different to any other permanent loss of someone?]
