[Harley left her journal behind in the Castle so she didn't hear any of that. She does, however, see the glowing. And that's enough to draw her over.]

Are you doing that?

[Liadrin pauses as she's approached, offering a warm smile and letting the magic fade a bit.]

Indeed. It helps me collect my thoughts.

Wow. Usually when I try to collect my thoughts, I go shopping. Your way looks more fun.

[The elf laughs, ears pinning back involuntarily.]

It has been a long time since I have done that. I admit, it has its charms, but the Light is far more soothing in the end.

Have you seen magic before?

[ Guess who isn't alone for very looooong :> Mama can't help but notice that source of magic and warmth--it's so very close to her own after all! So in Alya's guise she'll approach ]

[O hai there! Liadrin's ears flick forward in greeting as she recognizes the familiar face.]

It is good to see you again.

And you as well... I had not seen you for some time. I worried.

It would be false of me to say I was not worried for a time, but life is strange, and I am unbelievably fortunate.

How have you been faring?

[And you apparently can't do magic in the gardens without attracting this one's attention. Especially magic like that-it reminds her of Lórien in a way. So she'll approach with a friendly nod.]

It is lovely. I have seen little like it.

[The nod is returned, and Liadrin ends her spell, setting her hands in her lap politely.]

Thank you. The Light is a remarkable thing...beyond even my understanding at times.

Are you well, my lady?

Well enough. [She has a lot on her mind. But then she always does.] And you?

[Liadrin knows the feeling.]

Better than I have been in quite some time. Peace is an...elusive creature. Difficult to maintain, even with such magic at my disposal.

Would you care to sit with me?

[Instead of answering over the journal, Felix heads down to the gardens. He hasn't seen her in person in some time, after all and part of him admits that though he isn't ailing physically, maybe a little of her magic could do him some good. That, or just someone to talk to.

He arrives shortly. In deference to the warmth of the air, he carries his jacket in the crook of his arm, his shirtsleeves rolled up to reveal the gaudy tattoos that cover his forearms.]

Hello again, dear.

[Her expression is bright-- cheerier than any of their previous encounters. It's nice to see him again, after all.

She peers over at his tattoos curiously. You have markings on you, sir.]

Hello to you, too, Lord Harrowgate. I am glad to see you out and about for a change.

[He smiles, a thin but faintly fond expression]

Same to you, my lady. Though it wasn't really much of a trial to quit the rigors of study to come visit a friend.

[They both know study isn't really a hardship for him, but that isn't really the issue. He takes a seat across from her, arms linked around his legs]

It is always a joy to be visited by one as well. [D'awwwww...friend. Her grin may be widening at the corners in response to that.]

Though studies should never be forgotten, of course. I am still making slow progress on my own.

[Oh hello there, little wolf! Liadrin beams proudly.]

Why thank you, little one. Have you never seen magic before?

They are more than stories. For my people, it is a way of life.

[Come to think of it, your ears are slightly pointed there...]

Are you an elf as well?
