[So Charlie has spent today in his room, which isn't all that unusual for him, hermit that he is. What is unusual is that he's spent the entire time in front of his window, waiting for a certain birdchild to reappear. Just trying to be... hopeful, even if he already knows at the back of his head...]
[Eventually he makes one last trip over to the kid's door, watching the blank plate as if expecting the name to come back somehow. But it doesn't. Finally, he gives in and flips his journal open, murmuring: ]
Tobias is gone. Sorry to everyone who knew him...
[Then... the journal is shut and he heads back towards his room. If he responds to this at all, it’ll be quite awhile )8]
