[Wes is still in the library. His research has not gone well. Despite his best efforts to uncover a workable solution for Illyria's problem, none have presented themselves which haven't involved causing Illyria harm. And even then the result would be unpredictable at best. He's worked himself to the bone, barely taking any kind of rest or sustenance. Eventually it all catches up on him and he falls asleep at the table, books on arcane rituals and dark magic surrounding him. He barely stirs when Illyria shifts him so that his head is in her lap and her fingers stroking slowly through his short-cropped hair. Considering how patient the God-King is, it's anybody's guess how long Wes sleeps cradled thus.]
