[Washington is out patrolling the halls again. His gun is ready.]

You know, these speech bubble things are starting to get annoying.  As well as the thought bubbles.

(But the worst of it is the constant feeling of being watched.  Am I finally losing it?)

[Kat's coming back from her patrols of the grounds, affixing her AR to the magnetic holster on her back.]

.oO(Great, it's Washington. Lets try to make this brief, shall we.)

<(Could be worse. Could be putting words into them that we wouldn't ever think or say.)

.oO(Like, 'what, you haven't snapped already'?)

[Washington raises his gun, then lowers it.]

(Oh, wait. Just the bitch kitty. Wonderful. Just what I needed.)

Oh, it's you. Wonderful. Just what I needed. Also, fuck off, you rotten bitch.

(Too bad such a nice ass has to belong to the Spartan bitch. She might actually be interesting enough to go after otherwise.)

.oO(Typical. Hard to remember there's any decency in there somewhwere.)

<(Don't worry. Yours is one of the last minds I'd like a peek at.)

[But that gets her to stop and stare for a moment.]

.oO(... he's got to be kidding.)
......(but even if he's not ..... )

<(Good thing to know we both agree you're not ever again getting a piece of it.)

[aaaaaand yes, she's making to pass you in the hallway.]

(More than you'll ever know.)

Like any of us has a choice on looking right now, apparently.

SIGH

(Fucking castle.)

You know, it's a decent bit because I wouldn't want to with the women that happens to be attached. Short of a loss. Or being very drunk.

Is that what they are?

(Because they really are starting to get annoying. I wonder if I can shoot them.)

[There's a frantic wave of his hand in an attempt to get the thought bubble above him to disappear when it forms, before he just sighs and glances back to the one wearing Spartan-like armor.

And then up to the bubbles floating around Wash's head.]

(You seem sane enough to me so far.)

This is the castle's fault, isn't it?

Yes. It shows our thoughts.

(Tried shooting. Didn't help.)

Definitely the castle's kind of prank.

Great.

(Damn it. Would not have mind wasting the ammo if it worked.)

[Just going to do his best to ignore the words above his head long enough to push away from the wall and lift a hand in greeting. He remembers your voice, buddy.]

(Guess Kat was right. Both Agent York and Agent Washington wear spartan armor.)

Any chance it'll go away soon, sir?

Ammo's not really a big deal. I'm sure you're resourceful enough to handle something like that.

(Don't believe most of what the ki\tty would say about me.)

Soon, but not soon enough.

[York is going to take this opportunity to hide right around a corner and try to thought-bubble-troll his friend.]

(No, Wash, you really are being watched. I'm totally stalking you.

York, you are fully aware he can see your thoughts. Hello, Agent Washington.

You're ruining my plan, D.)

Uh, I mean, hi.

(York, you are impossible. And hello, Delta.)

You are an idiot.

Oh, shut up.

(I'm just glad we can be out again.

York, have you located Agent Maine yet?

Oh, no, good point.)

You seen the Meta around?

You earned that. But seriously, it feels like we're being watched. And I don't like it.

(Way to go, moron. I swear, Delta has the only brain between the two of you, and he's an AI.)

Not a sign. And I've been watching.
