[ people come and go all the time. friends, even. akihiko should be accustomed to this by now, because he knows home is where they belong and that his world is fine. yukari's going to be alright. in fact, she'll be better than she ever was.

Yukari Takeba's gone home again.
[ with that, he tucks his journal away and heads outside the castle, toward the forest. it had been a while since he had been here, hadn't it? he ventures further through the trees, not stopping to take any breaks until he reaches the western portion of the forest.
perhaps he had just been thinking too much. maybe it was the fact he overslept (again). but he felt compelled to come out here after a long time, to this particular spot. the little tree branch jr. had used as a grave marker was still here. that was good. ]
