[Hardison wakes up this morning feeling really off. It takes some orange soda, waking up more, and some thought to realize something really strange had happened. It was his first loss. It was odd, because he could still summon the idea that he knew all of those people and that they were family...even though he didn't know most of them really. He really didn't want to think long on the fact that he had actually been CAUGHT doing something, because he's kinda a professional at NOT getting caught.
There's a lot to think about, but really he just wants to go see his REAL family. He feels like there was just this gaping hole in his entire week where they would have always been in the background of his subconscious, but really....they hadn't been. So he grabs his journal and heads to the team's tower.
He busts in and looks around. Seeing no one, he goes for Parker's door first. It's habit. Instinct. Some things will never change. He knocks. And he knocks. And he shakes his head.]
Parker. Hey, Parker.
[he gently pushes the door open and leans in, without actually looking in. It's the decent thing to do.]
Parker?
[he opens his eyes and....his heart drops. He quickly pulls out of the room, wanting to deny the possibility. He doesn't bother checking for a nameplate, because for as long as he lived in the tower his nameplate was on his old door. He doesn't even pause before running to find her old room, where he finds the same thing. An empty room. No name on the door.
He wants to keep denying it.]
Parker.
You're around, right? Hiding?
Where are you?
Parker...Parker...
.Parker
[he stands in her empty room for a long time, waiting. Waiting for a response, waiting for her to pop in....but after awhile he knows it's going to be real no matter how long he waits.]
If...if you knew Parker...she's gone.
[and he sits against a bare wall, because he doesn't feel like going anywhere just yet.]
