[Filtered away from Krasus' enemies, Deathwing, Deathwing's allies, and anyone who would give this information to Deathwing himself.]

Greetings, residents of Cair Paradisa. I am Krasus. You must set aside whatever you are doing and listen to me now, for this announcement concerns every one of you.

And you hope that simply avoiding him will accomplish what, exactly? Perhaps he'll lose interest and leave?

all you elf kids need to stfu while papa dragon deals with the bad guy thelifemeddler May 2 2011, 05:49:16 UTC
It will take some time to put together anything more than a temporary solution, and for now I would rather not have his influence running unchecked. If you have any suggestions, I will hear them.

why don't you go back to dalaran and make some fountains float or something B| arrowonthewind May 2 2011, 19:22:15 UTC
In this place, there is nothing that is not a temporary solution.

If we harry him, I think we'll have a better chance of him leaving us alone than if we simply pretend he doesn't exist.

why don't you make like a horde expedition and get lost thelifemeddler May 2 2011, 20:05:25 UTC
Would you rather I sent dozens of foolhardy and ill-prepared adventurers to an unorganized and torturous demise? [This is why you have to be at least level 80 to enter Malygos' lair, man.] A mid-term solution is forthcoming. For now, it is best that people understand the threat exists. I am as frustrated as any other, [perhaps moreso] but it is not simply his physical presence we must worry about.

I am not about to turn a blind eye and hope that he flies away. So long as he is here and we have some measure of power, Deathwing will not scarcely breathe unhindered.

OH SHIT SON, it's on now!! arrowonthewind May 3 2011, 01:47:51 UTC
[She makes a low noise of frustration in response to that! Damn you, Krasus, and your logical ways!]

The swifter this mid-term solution comes, the better.

[Anyway, in a world where Alleria isn't a huge bitch right out the gate for no reason --] Your name is familiar to me.

[You hothead elf types and your lack of logic. By the Great Mother.]

I am in utmost agreement.

[Followed by a delicate pause.] It is sometimes difficult to place a voice and name, or else I might say the same. To whom am I speaking?

[That's how we roll, dude! Shoot people in the face first, ask questions later.]

Ah. [Understandable ... she'd been gone for twenty years, after all, and a mage wouldn't know her as intimately as one who lived in Quel'Thalas.] I am Alleria Windrunner.

[Seems to be a chronic elf thing.]

I should have known. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, my lady, though times have grown dark as of late. [He pauses again, but this time he allows the slightest bit of relief into his voice.] Lady Vereesa is overjoyed at your presence. Your time has not been wasted.

[It's cultural! Be more sensitive, gosh.]

Ah -- you've spoken with Vereesa already? [Not really acknowledging that part about Vereesa being overjoyed, because man, what does a Windrunner do with ~feelings~?] She was due to return to us at the Mineas Well, but I suppose it would be more logical for us all to return to the castle at this point.

We spoke upon her return, at least.

Shall you be staying there frequently?

We've gone there as the castle allowed it. Which is to say, the lull in danger gave us the opportunity to slip away for a few precious weeks.

But now that there are more pressing matters to attend to, such idle time will likely become a luxury we cannot afford to take.

There will be other opportunities.

[Once Deathwing is properly dealt with, that is.]

Perhaps. But if not, I am still thankful for the time given.

[Because really, she's not counting on getting much rest now that a (n apparently) big bad dragon is here, in addition to Prince Zombiesalot.]

It is what you make of it.

I hope your time here will be just as fruitful. There are many different types of magic here, or so I have heard, so perhaps that will interest you.

[Because you're just a regular mage guy, right? Of course.]

There is a good deal to be found here. The library is limitless, residents much the same; I have met a few different elves.

[yep just a normal mage guy of course]
