[There's a rise of brazen violin notes rising from the papers' folds. For those musically inclined, it's Bach. It isn't bad, exactly. Technique-wise, it's very exacting, but there's no passion in it at all, hitting each note as if it were simply a bump in the road to avoid. The player sighs in frustration, and hurls the bow as far from his body as he can. Luckily for Ciel, the skill he lacked at music was made up for in darts. The bow's pointed end sticks itself perfectly in the wood of the door, only quivering a moment. He barely has time to put on a filter- if a bit haphazardly- before he shouts at the book.]

How dare you lie to me? "I don't tell lies," my ass, you-
You made hunting look so damned easy, you wretched creature! Monster! Filth!
You left my side, after our contract- Left me to my hunger and-
Is this some sick twist for payback? I am your master and you will obey me! I order you to come here at once! Obey me! OBEY ME, DAMN YOU!

Time passes and I don't grow anything but weaker and more consumed- What a piteous life! If you show your face I shall crush you under my heel you-
You-

You fool. I hope Hell swallows you whole!

[...A heavy sigh that almost sounds more like the caw of a little crow. There's a far more reserved tone now, similar to Ciel's normal speech patterns.]

Are we resigned to while the hours waiting for the castle to twist its whims with us? It's no way for any creature to live. We get all of the pleasures of the world except for our own free will, and attempting to tear from the Castle has ended badly for most involved.

How long does it take to become so complacent to this cage?

{{OOC: If you think the filter, for whatever reason, applies to you, then feel free to overhear it! Ciel wasn't exactly organized.}}
