[There's some shuffling noise as Roxas flips through the pages of his journal; he's reading while walking, with the journal in one hand and a bar of ice cream in the the other.]
So I was thinking-now that it's spring, it's nice enough to skateboard all the time, but it's mostly just me and Sora who use the halfpipe. Maybe we could have some kind of skateboarding contest? Or lessons, if people want to know how to do it. Just an idea.

[If anyone were walking with him, they might be able to tell Roxas that it's a good idea to pay attention to where you're going, especially when you're walking down the stairs. Even more especially when one of your shoes has come untied. Between the trailing lace, the distraction of the journal, and the fact that he is alone, though, this just isn't Roxas' day.]

[There's a yelp, and then a thumping sound as the Keyblade of Destiny trips and tumbles down the stairs. His descent ends with a loud thud as his head catches a very hard blow.
And then there's just silence.]
