Coming by the TARDIS for repairs. Have some biofoam ready. Raiden should have no problem against The Meta. [Yes, she sounds a little bit pissed.]

[Dictated, the journal held awkwardly open with her left hand as she makes her way to the TARDIS for more repairs after sparring with Raiden. She had a couple things she needed ( Read more... )

Wasn't much, but I met her.

She didn't give you any trouble, did she? [If she was closer to conscription age, she couldn't have been too much to handle, but if she were anywhere near augmentation age she really could have done some damage.]

That was actually me on a Loss. Still trying to figure out where I was in my training at the time, since the castle didn't let me remember.

Not too much. She was a little smartassed when she first started but most kids in those kinds of situations shape up pretty quick when there's an officer present.

[her tone indicates she knows that one from experience]

Said you were from a place called Camp Curahee and you were looking for the Blue Team. Don't know if that helps.

Good to hear I didn't forget my manners in the presence of an officer. Assuming you were in the military ... ?

[A little chuckle,] Doesn't really narrow it down besides being pre-aug. Guess I should be thankful for that.

I was in a similar sitch when I was a kid. The whole creating the newest super soldier thing. My class was trained to be officers.

[shrugs]

As I said, you were pretty tight lipped. I tried to get what I could.

So what were you fighting? We were taking out insurrectionist cells and alien aggressors.

Appreciate it. I don't like at all that this castle can mess with our memories like this. [All the IRE]

We were just fighting to survive, mostly. The people that created us had us as mercenaries, and when they went up in smoke, the rest of the world wanted us dead.

[winces]

Yeah, I definitely feel you there.

I'm sorry to hear that. [She had to pause a moment, and when she spoke it was with open curiosity; between this woman and Wolverine and with all of these different worlds, she was finding more and more cases of military programs physically altering or augmenting humans, and was curious how they all stacked up against each other. Albeit, Wolverine wasn't a normal human to begin with, but still.]

When you say 'created', what do you mean?

We went through our physical augmentations when we reached eleven. Gave us denser muscle and bone, keener eyesight and hearing, makes us harder to break.

Manticore created us from scratch. Made all the modifications when we were embryos and implanted us in surrogates. They also combined our DNA with various animal types and added in some bonus features. Eidetic memory, faster healing time ... that kind of thing.
