[Bishamon looks up from his books in the direction of the voice, his wings shifting restlessly behind him.]

I shall take that as a compliment.

Do you think I am?

[He always enjoyed the answers people gave to that question.]

[His lips spread up in a smile, somewhere between wicked and angelically bemused.]

I have been called an angel before, though that is not the truth of the matter.

[He laughed.]

So a demon after all.

Demons are the same, though we are older and more powerful than humans. Wolves are closer to demon than human anyway. Most that I know do not tend to adore humans at all.

Humans are... merely short sighted and self-blinding.

[He shrugged.]

The only reason they are strong is blind faith and the ability to breed like rabbits.
