When I found this book, I thought it might be some kind of history -- like something passed from person to person to catalog this unfamiliar place. A little closer observation and I realized that it changes! It's not just an account of the past, but also an account of the present, if the amount of times it changes a day is any clue

Oh, this is impossible. Impossible and..]
Sokka!
[But the journal is already snapped shut and she's dashing to the lobby, not bothering to try to communicate with him on the journals. Instead, she's just going to seek her brother out immediately, lunging at him.]
Sokka, you idiot!
[But this is said through a smile.]

[He looks around for the rest of the crew, but her face is the only one he recognizes. And, speaking of, he peers at her strangely. She looks well-rested and much more carefree -- a welcome sight, to be sure.] I'm glad to see you, too.
...now, why am I an idiot?

[She cuts herself off, catching his curious look, and shakes her head quickly. Right. She forgets herself, sometimes, though she isn't sure how she manages to do that; she holds her hand up toward him, palm out, as if to tell him to hold on.]
First of all, we're safe here, so don't worry about that.
And secondly.. this place pulls people here from different times. I know it's a little hard to swallow, but.. I'm from after the war. I've been here for a while.

Welcome back to Paradisa, Sokka. I'm the Doctor. You won't remember me, I'm afraid, but I'm the first in a number of folks here who'll remember you.
I can meet you in the lobby, if you'd like.

Let me know when you're available -- I'm writing this from the lobby right now.

Are you able to answer any of my questions? I'm Sokka, what's your name? Have you heard of the Southern Water Tribe?

My name is Shiki Misaki. I've been here for a while. The thing is... your Southern Water Tribe and Fire Nation aren't really here so much. On the bright side, though, there isn't a war between them here either!
You're in a place called Paradisa, and it's the infinite castle place where people from different worlds and things come here and you can wish for anything you want and... well. Has someone explained this place to you yet?

No one has explained anything to me, but I read some of the entries in this book. I'd like to know more. Can we meet?

[Indeed, Sokka is waiting there, once in a while writing in his journal -- probably responses to other people. He looks harmless enough, right?]
