I don't know much about them beyond that they exist. The only god I've ever come across was known as a New God from another dimension.

That's what they're referred to as, yes. From what I could gather while in their dimension, they were created after the destruction of the Old Gods and their world eons ago.

That seems to be the case. All I found was that a "God Wave" and Ragnarok were somehow involved.

More like a war amongst gods. I figure they destroyed each other either through this God Wave or their destruction created it, which led to the New Gods.

That's how I see it, anyway.

They are. They may be powerful, but that didn't stop me from coming close to conquering one of their worlds.
