[He didn't care much for storybooks, as they were for children, but even so, this one intrigued him. It was about his home world, after all. So he kind of...reads it aloud, unaware that the journal is open.]
"Once upon a time, there was a black beast.
The beast was very strong, and it ate many people.
The people fought the beast. However...
...it was too strong, and they could not win.
When the world was at a loss...
...a white knight appeared out of nowhere, followed by five champions.
They were very, very strong.
And the people finally defeated the beast."
[a pause, before he makes his own comments.]
..."Many people." That's quite the understatement, considering how many people there actually were. It didn't even mention that they also taught mankind how to use magic. Then again, I guess you can't always count on stories such as these to provide all the details, right Sis?
