[Marian's small dog Wheely is fretting in her arms. Looking around, Marian sees an animal that could be... both cat AND dog? She stares at it, fascinated. Not knowing if it's a good or bad idea to introduce the animals, she takes a tentative step further. Wheely whines and it sounds like it's about to turn into a growl.]

Shush, Wheely. It's alright.

[The dog has enough sense to obey her.]

[Tad is big and dangerous, but only by command or situationally. He's very smart and very well socialized too. He doesn't get up, but just stares at Marian. After a moment his tail swishes across the springy ground.]
