[guess who has finally found out that there's a library here? it only took WAY too long for her to hear about it. there's so much she doesn't know about the world -- her world, and other peoples' worlds, and it was really starting to frustrate her

[she casts a sideways glance at him, trying to place his voice...] Well... if you're familiar with libraries, I'm sure you'd be good help! I'm just having trouble figuring out where to begin. There's just so much that I don't know yet, you know? I have to sort my thoughts out!

[There's someone else in the library, actually. It's hard to tell who he is since he's draped in a SINISTER BLACK CLOAK. Oddly, funny little points stick out, making the hood look ridiculously diamond-shaped. Ears, maybe?

He has three books tucked beneath each arm. Still, he's studying a nearby shelf intently. With no visible gestures from the shrouded wizard, a book disengages from the shelf and gently floats over. He takes that one, too.]

[WHO IS THIS FANCY MYSTERIOUS FELLOW. she's still looking around, hands behind her back, when her eyes find him... and they widen when she sees that book floating in the air. is this some kind of trick? she keeps staring, and forgetting her indoor voice, blurts out:]

How did you do that?! [so... polite..]

[Somehow he knows that she's talking to him. Unbothered, and with a smooth voice betraying little in the way of gender or accent:]

Mhmm! It's my first time here. I can't believe I haven't heard of this place sooner! It took way too long for me to find out about it.

[Fred's there, returning a few books on astrophysics when another voice pulls her from the thoughts. She peeks around the shelves to see another woman with bright, long hair. She can't help but smile at her reaction]

I still catch myself saying that, every time I come in here.

[she beams at fred, extending her arms] It's just... how could anyone be bored in the castle? [she brings her arms down, and starts walking towards her] Do you come here a lot?

[Well, when someone goes and smiles at you like that, you just have to smile back]

Pretty much every day, if I can manage. And I think anyone who says that doesn't come to the library. Is it your first time?

[she nods, impressed that fred comes here almost everyday] I just heard about it today, which is a shame because I've been here for nearly two weeks.
