[Spike is in Caritas, drinking. He has to tell his friends about Drusilla, but he's not really sure how. Also, his ex just showed up thinking the two of them were still dating. It's a good time to be drinking.

Finally, he opens his journal, and starts to write.]

Yes. I ran into her in the hallway. Can't say I've ever had the pleasure.

She's not dust yet. But she doesn't seem too thrilled with the idea of keeping her fangs to herself.

Of course she's not. Doesn't mean she won't.

[Spike's tone is sharp. He's not really surprised that Wes (and everyone else) doubts that this can happen, but it doesn't make it less annoying.]

I'd suggest we keep a constant watch on her, especially when she's outside of her room. At least until we can be certain she's not going to lapse.
