i kept getting pinched by people yesterday because i wasnt wearing green
but my eyes are green!!!!

it was stupid
anyway i think i want to spend some time in the greenhouse now
is there anyone who actually officially takes care of it??
i hope they wont mind

That's terrible! Forcing us into it. If any of my clothes fit you, I'd have lent you some though....they're not exactly the most modest.

There's a greenhouse here, though? I know Kanaya and I were planning a garden. Perhaps this could work out better...

All of these ridiculous holidays; I wonder when we'll get one that's actually comforting and relaxing to celebrate.

Oh, I know I do. I did grow up in a forest and live amongst the trees. My tribe really respected nature and animals and we'd make most of our food and equipment and medicine out of what grew there. Even the clothes and weapons I have now were made from the same things I lived in almost.

i just do it for fun but i grow food too so i guess thats practical

This place is pretty good at turning things that should be enjoyable into ridiculous mockeries.

We would grow our food, as well. Our medicines came from herbs and flowers we cultivated; I've been thinking of showing Lady Kanaya how to make some of it. Perhaps if it works, everyone could make use of the plants that make it.

You think they'd have something nicer after a while, or celebrate a more subdued version of it, but I suppose this place just doesn't want us to rest or have it easy. "If it's not one thing..." and all.

If I can refine the learning process for it, I'll guide you through it and leave the recipe for others to make it and use freely.

I'm quite old enough, Jade. Older than most here, yet still younger than a few, but I've been around long enough to see entire countries rise and fall.

Indeed. There are those still quite a bit older than me. I know some other elves exist here but they're not from my world. I do believe they are long living as well, though I'm unsure quite how long.

i guess thats kind of like how there are a lot of humans here but they dont all come from the same place!!
some of them arent even from earth i think
it is pretty weird to think about
