[ it's been a week since the children were rescued. a week of the paranoia, fear and intensity simmering down and everyone being able to relax again... at least until the next Big Bad showed its ugly face

[Querl is out exploring the grounds (try as he may, he just couldn't get much sleep as he'd like to), floating about VIA flight ring. He's not quite happy with his new attire of jeans and t-shirt, or that his hair is starting to become messy without the proper care he gave it back in his own universe in his own time.

He's becoming as bad as Lightning Lad.

As he floats about, he spots someone on the roof. Interesting. He didn't think anyone else would be up this early. He floats up, landing a few feet away from the woman.]

[ she hears someone behind her and doesn't pay much attention until she's spoken to. however, when she turns her eyes widen at the green skin. ]

[Great, thank you for making him feel even more uncomfortable, Karen. And when Querl gets uncomfortable he gets defensive. So he'll just fold his arms and arch a snarky brow at you.]

[ she's heard of the one in the legion but never... met you ;( so she doesn't know you come in peace. ]

Five... [ she pauses and the tension slowly fades but the surprise is still there. ] Wait, the Legion, right?

[Querl cools his heels.]

[Well...at least this isn't too awkward.] I see. We have often made trips to the past for important purposes.

You guys brought back the Flash and his family. [ but that was a very awkward time since... you know, the legion sort of tricked clark and he was not happy about his friends doing that. ]

[ she nods. being lied to and lead around in circles hadn't been fun but they had brought wally and his family back. there was no denying how happy everyone had been to see him again. ]
