I wonder, when we head out there we can feel the pull of the castle, this urge to go back. What about those guys? Or have they just grown immune to it?

All those clues found when Slenderman was kidnapping the kids, some of them were journal entries, right? Maybe the library might have something.

Maybe it's just like anything that you've had to deal with for a long time. Maybe for the first year or so it was hard, but now they can just ignore it? Or I wonder... if you go far enough, does it go away completely?

She should... I've never contacted her myself. But she's supposed to be on our side, I think.

Then it's worth a shot. Maybe if more of us show a genuine interest in understanding this place, they'll be a little more open to talking with us.

I don't know about those iron suits. They made it pretty clear they don't want anything to do with us here or coming over into the Dead Zone.

It has to do with the land and possibly some power source they might want from the castle. At least, that's what Joy told me. I don't know if it's real or not.

A power source... So there's something that powers the castle's magic?

There has to be. Something's made it sentient and powerful... Joy said people out there wanted this source.

That sounds really dangerous. I don't know a lot about the people out there, but something that powerful sounds like it should be destroyed. [although she can't help but admit that she's thinking about the things that someone could accomplish with it]

If people out there are really fighting for it, it probably is better destroyed. Unless we could find a way to use it and return home.

I wonder... if that's the price for destroying it. You can use it to send everyone home, but you won't be able to leave... in exchange for making sure that no one ever comes here again. [ugh, sacrifice is the worst ;;]
