[Having heard of Elektra's visions, Alleyne felt a bit more at ease. She was actually able to get some decent sleep and a better breakfast in. She went up to the library to have lunch after patrolling a bit and decided to do some reading of her own, journal open next to her just in case ( Read more... )

'In and under'?

Find a way to get under it into that empty area and jump in. The only way we're doing this is by confronting it directly. I honestly wasn't expecting anything less.

I see...

I'll assist in any way I can, then.

I'm counting on you, Anna. I'll be over to help any way more I can myself soon enough.

[ Bruce hasn't really been replying to evidence finds on the journal, he's been leaving that up to his team while he researched the hell out of exorcisms. But this? This is something he can't help but reply to. ]

So, theoretically, if we tunneled down there, or someone mentioned a cave system in the journals that could give us an in, we could get the children out before performing an exorcism like the one noted in the interview Lois found and we wouldn't have to worry about it taking them anyways.

[ Best news he's had all week. ]

[Right there with ya, Bruce. Eleven's been doing the same thing]

That's entirely possible. I asked Sakura to look into whether or not anyone's tunneled down #.

We need to look into exorcisms and check up with the attempts to destroy the tree yesterday. What worked more than other attempts and cross-reference that with exorcism rituals for our best bet of driving him back.

Marvelous idea! I'll look back at the journals and see what sort of damage they've been able to do so far.

Dave, you should take that with you, show the other children where they are.

One step ahead of you, Doc. Any way y'all can start digging now?

We would need either a way to get rid of it or enough of whatever was aging people up and down before we started digging. Otherwise we'd just make it angry and exacerbate the situation. There's more of a risk of people dying that way, unfortunately.

Now that we know what to do and what we're looking for, it shouldn't take long.

From the way the picture is drawn, those aren't roots.

[ despite the fact that they possibly found a solution and it's awesome, that catches her attention ]

"513N03RM4N"? What's the point of that being written in such a way?

It looks like it could possibly be another whole one of these trees. Makes me wonder...

...And you know, I thought that myself. I'd never seen numbers used as letters before, but it makes sense for a quick code. They probably wanted most to gloss over this and forget about it.

They're drawn exactly like the ones on top. Like they were mirrored.

Most would. [ gloss over it ]

I have to admit, I almost did myself, but something compelled me to finish what i had taken anyways.

I shudder to think what would have happened if we had not discovered this in time due to strange codes.
