All things considered, I think that's good news, compared to what it might have been. We know they're still alive, as well as able to move and run around -- it might even mean they'll get away at some point. If we can intervene somehow before then, even better.

Not exactly. Usually what I see takes place shortly afterward. We could have anywhere between a few minutes to a couple of days before it happens.

For what it's worth, I don't think I would have seen that if we weren't going to have time to prevent it or at least use it to our advantage.
