We disappear at 50

[Coraline's disappearance has shaken her, but she's not panicking anymore. If anything, it's made her focus even more on the task at hand, her voice coming across even, firm and determined. So a solution to get Slenderman to leave the children alone is tattling?

[ frowns ]

But if none of the children knew about him before this..

[ except for the ones who have been having dreams

and seeing that filter but not saying anything to it ]

Well... fairy tales. We don't know how much truth is actually in the fairy tale part. It could be 100%...it could be fractions.

We haven't found black cloth, either. But the livestock part sounds the same.

[a sigh] And then there's that journal entry Sakaki found. The one where the writer seemed to actually want the man in the dream to find them.

....maybe being invited once is enough. Or maybe one of our kids was lonely and accidentally let him back. We still don't have enough pieces.

We shouldn't discount it though, even if it is a fairy tale.

If being invited brings him into their lives, perhaps just turning their backs to him -- in a metaphorical sense -- would send him away? Though an idea like that seems impossible by now.

A lot of people say fairy tales are impossible too. Anything is worth trying.

We are in a magic castle. No position to argue with that.
