[The afternoon finds Felix sitting on the edge of the fountain in town with his journal in his lap and a small box of other books at his feet. He seems to be lost in thought a moment, his chin tilted upward to feel the slight warmth of the sun in the early spring air.]

But none of this sounds bad. I'm in.

For my own curiosity, what can you tell me about your own magic?

Well, I'm part witch. My mother was a witch. My powers are telekinetic, and I've also learned a lot about potions and spells. Where I'm from...my sisters and I are considered the most powerful witches of our kind.

What a coincidence. I work there as well.
I am not sure I understand, though, how you can be part witch. Either you have magic or you do not. Or I thought.

[or...something like that to explain why they hadn't met there...]
My father wasn't a witch. My mother was. I mean...I'm all witch, but...part of me is like my father.

When I was born...the relationship between my mother and father was forbidden. So forbidden that they had to hide me. I was adopted. By...really wonderful parents.

I believe I understand, and the details are your own to divulge. I was merely curious about the roots of your power.
But back to my inquiry - labels aside, almost every magic-user I have met here thus far has channeled their power differently. How does yours work?
