and those with really, really good ears can hear another skittering noise far away, and Nill can hear it too. she sounds a little out of breath.

[There is the sound hurried footfalls now as he is leaving his room and heading for the Insolitus. Luckily, it's only up one floor, so he can manage that. What he'll do when he gets there...he's not sure]
