Gainos. Though that is the queen's capital, the world itself is not named, but I hail from forests near it.

[Flipping through it a bit. Yup, those wars and tournament records sound awfully familiar to her.]

Given that it did take us from our homes, it would, of course, keep record on us.

So is mine. I should be expecting this almost by now already but it's still bit unsettling to see such a complete record.

[She skims through information on a Human/Elf war and sighs a bit.]

It appears not. This history is more general.

I am mentioned briefly in one particularly disturbing entry. They really went all out in making sure our stays here would be uncomfortable. I feel watched.

Disturbing in what fashion?

It's about a war my kind had with the humans at one point. They tried to enslave us, so we fought them back and sealed ourselves off.

Personally, I'm not bothered by humans, but the elders use it as an excuse to be as cruel as possible to whomever. I could never do much about it, and would rather forget that stupid fight even happened.
