[she'll put some more water on, starting more coffee s it'll be hot and fresh when Barbara gets there.

While she waits, she'll be sitting at one of the tables with her journal open, supposedly reading through entries...but she's distracted. She'd seen Roy. Talked to him while he was leaving.
