[Yep, she hears that voice, and it only causes her to tense and fall still. Her teeth grind together as she tries to remain calm in the presence of such a painful reminder of what became of the weaker elves.]
I fail to see why, Liadrin. After all, is it not true?

. . .
[Oh that -hurts-, woman. So much so that it takes Liadrin a moment to respond, though as she does her voice is as strong and clear as ever.] At least I am willing to accept the mistakes I've made in order to atone for them, rather than consider myself so pristine that I am free to judge all those around me.
lia you judge all the time. you're a paladin. /bah dum tssswornanoathFebruary 5 2011, 10:23:04 UTC
Please. You criticize my actions and then try to tell me you are not judging me? You, who continuously mentions how special you are because you were "chosen" by the Naaru as if you are the messiah of the Sunwell?
You are a fallen elf paying for your deeds, and you will always thirst.
[She takes the reigns of her hippogryph and attempts to guide it elsewhere, away from Liadrin.]
I advise, there is a difference. [Nope, Liadrin is walking after you.]
And yes, Vereesa. I will always thirst, but I do not let hatred choke my heart. I do not hate you for what you say, but I will not agree with you for considering the rest of us 'weak'.
...You sound so much like Kael'thas when you speak that way, you know.
[Take your logic elsewhere, Liadrin. Vereesa wants no part of it.]
In order to sound like you, I would need to do a great deal more whining about where to find my next source of magic.
I fail to see why you feel you must somehow get through to me. As if I will ever bend my ear toward you! If I have not made it clear enough, I want nothing to do with you. The sight of you disgusts me. Perhaps long ago I thought you powerful and even inspiring, but I do not feel that way now. You are nothing but a wretched, painful reminder that I wish would leave.
I tolerate your presence if only for the sake of maintaining some semblance of peace, and because my sister's good intentions blind her to your very nature.
These talks are but a waste of your breath. Preach to someone who will listen.

Until that last statement, and she quickly turns to face her, eyes narrowed and filled with hatred.]
I am nothing like him. How dare you even compare us.

And this? This talk of humans being lesser? I've heard it all before.

But are you so content to find yourself sounding like who I once was...?
