[Oh so it's a girl. A frighteningly sweet-looking girl with a giant blade. Clearly, there is nothing to worry about.]

[Is chilling out in his room, listening to some opera and reading a book. CLEARLY he needs to be bothered]

[Oh, and bothered he shall be. When she reaches the air vent, she peers in through the slats, taking in the view. Ffff, is this opera? Oh wait, she's heard this before. She catches herself before she hums it aloud, and works to quietly remove the vent cover.]

[Normally he'd notice that, but he's rather enjoying this particular aria. He's blissfully oblivious as he turns a page]

[The cover slips off and she sets it off to the side while she very slowly slips down. She probably should not be doing this, but hey, if he's distracted she's going to take advantage and poke around. She's missed doing this, honestly. Anything of worth around?]

hi Parker there is a really... fat, flat-faced orange kitten in your way now.

and a voice shouting in the room below. ]

Killer! You stupid cat! Where'd you go?

[KITTY. It is furry and adorable and suddenly Parker is taken with it. She reaches out to pet it, scratching its furry rolls in delight.

Yeah, you're not getting this cat back.]

[ OH LOOK AT THAT. he starts purring like a motorboat.

as his eyes slowly start to slide apart.

meanwhile, that voice stops and is now grumbling. ]

Fucking cat. Justinia will kill me if it dies.

[No, stop purring you hideously cute thing! She grabs the cat and pulls it closer, trying to soothe its purring. And in the process probably making it... purr even more.]

[Peering into this room, Parker can see a tall attractive man walking out of the bathroom. He's shirtless, his right arm in a sling and a towel thrown about his shoulders as he runs it through his red hair with his left hand. Garish tattoos of vines stand out easily on the pale skin of his forearms as if newly inked.

He doesn't notice Parker, of course, absorbed as he is with his task. He hasn't been able to actually bathe because of his broken arm, but he's managed to at least wash his hair, though with difficulty. He's stubborn like that.

He continues across the room to the wardrobe and throws open the doors. From this angle it's easy to see that his bare back is covered in a mass of criss-crossing scars. They are old and thin but even now aren't pretty to look at. What could have caused them?]

[Yeesh. What's up with this guy? After peering through the vent for a while, Parker will decide to leave the guy be. Something about him rubs her the wrong way. She'll be sure to wish up a crate of Neosporin for him later.]

Except oh crap, OH CRAP. IT'S KATE. And she sort of mentioned that she wasn't doing the whole "creeping around people's rooms thing" anymore, so don't mind if she just tries to get away and--

Oh, oops. She hits her head on the air duct, and the sound echos down into Kate's room. She blames the towel.]

[ the noise alerts her and she freezes in her spot for a split second before carrying on like nothing's wrong. however, she keeps an eye on the vent and moves around it cautiously so she can't be seen from beneath it anymore. ]
