You can include a lot of things from filters. Like, if you're excluding a person from a filter, you can write out people who'd pass information onto them too. Or if you want to make a personal announcement, you can filter something to people who care.

You never know when you might need a private line of communication. They look easy enough to make, but keeping them airtight is another story.

Yes, but not everyone can be so close to one another, so the journal helps. Like a telephone or a letter that can be sent instantly.
